We’re proud to have partnered with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme to offer British Sign Language Training as part of the skills section of the scheme.

We offer a 13 week course which aligns with the 3 month minimum for this section. It covers Deaf Awareness and basic British Sign Language, leading to recognised qualification in BSL awarded by Signature. Signature is the only recognised UK awarding body for British Sign Language and the would receive a 101 qualification.

For those who require a 6 months Skills section this can be extended to complete the full Level 1 Course, meaning they would have the equivalent of a GCSE in BSL at the end.

The course will be a two hour session, delivered live via zoom on a weekly basis starting on the following dates.

Monday 2nd of February

The cost of this course is £225.00 to include Signature examination costs. And will be led by an experienced and friendly tutor.
