At the Centre we believe that the understanding of linguistics is integral to learning BSL.

Janice, and the team at Sign Core have created and over time expand upon this linguistics book. The Centre’s own graphics, created by Ellie Newman, help to express the information in a more visual format.

This book was originally put together in 2015 by Janice, with the assistance of Emma Gilbert, for the former BSL Level 3-320 unit.

This book now includes a wider range of information covering all aspects of BSL Linguistics.

Now also including a 40 question quiz to test your knowledge and linguistics activities!
