Emergency Text 66277 Finished

From 1st March 2013, the Lancashire Emergency SMS Text Messaging Service 66247 will finish. It is because now you can text 999 if you have an emergency.
Have you registered with 999 service? It could save your life.
1) Test the word ‘REGISTER’ to the number 999
2) You will then receive an SMS message about the service.
3) When you have read the message, reply by texting ‘YES’ to the number 999.
4) You will receive an SMS message telling you that your mobile phone is registered.
