Kayley Smith

Personal communication Assistant

Hey!

Sign language has always been a huge part of my live with my uncle being born deaf and my nanny using sign language to communicate with him. It has always been something I have wanted to pursue and finally last year I made the life changing decision to study BSL as a qualification here at Sign Core.

Everyone here at the Centre is like part of a family and I have made some incredible friends along the way, I have and am still thoroughly enjoying my journey every step of the way wherever it may take me.

I hope for one day to become an interpreter in BSL and teach people the language which has changed my life and forward my passion onto others I meet.

It is an honour to work for the centre and help assist with the foundation courses, and BSL level 1 to watch people grow and learn this amazing language.
