I had 1-1 tuition sessions with Janice at the end of my last year at Heriot-Watt in 2021. This really helped to prepare me for my final exams and to feel more confident that I was ready to work as an interpreter upon graduating. We started with a conversation about what I wanted to achieve from my session, set some goals then worked on them each week. We did 6 weekly sessions between classes finishing and exams starting then a further 6 sessions fortnightly whilst I was graduating and setting up my business as a trainee interpreter. Janice was patient, kind and warm and pushed me to work on the skills that I wanted to polish up. I definitely recommended working with her.
